Ron Paul's Radio Ad + Extra commentary

This man is our hope. A man of integrity, and a man who will vote for what he believes not who will get him elected.

If anyone happens to read this blog, I would highly encourage you to go to Ron Paul's website and buy some of these and pass them out. These things are very well designed and give an overview of the important issues in America along with Ron Paul's stance.

Ron Paul has begun airing a sixty-second radio ad titled, “Real GOP”

Here is the ad script:

Announcer:
What do these so called Republican frontrunners for President support?

Amnesty for illegal aliens? Like liberals?

Out of control spending? Like the Democrats?

Nation building overseas…..wasn’t that Bill Clinton’s policy?

Flip Flopping on the issues?

What’s Republican about any of that?

The real Republican is Ron Paul!

Ron Paul:
“The Republicans are losing because they did not keep their promise to end big government at home and nation building overseas. My record is different.”

Announcer:

Yes, Ron Paul’s record is different.

Ron Paul has never voted for a tax increase or an unbalanced budget

Ron Paul voted against amnesty for illegal ailiens.

Ron Paul voted against nation building overseas.

Ron Paul follows the constitution, not the lawyers, not the lobbyists, not the latest poll.

The Power of the Filibuster

I do not necessarily support Senator Dodd on all issues, simply because I am a conservative and he is a very strong liberal. That doesn't mean we should be bitter rivals or enemies. This is especially true with Senator Dodd's gutsy move to stand up to pretty much the entirety of the Federal government. I'll let the Senator speak for himself, but for a bit of background, a democratic lawmaker by the name of Jay Rockefeller is trying to get this law passed. Interestingly enough Verizon and AT&T employees executives have given him a combined total of $42,860. This law will give phone companies retroactive immunity for telecom companies spying on our phone calls.
